The Beach Sounds Fest is set to be bigger and better this year with funding announced by Nationals Parliamentary Secretary for Northern NSW Ben Franklin.

Mr Franklin said the NSW Liberal & Nationals Government will support this year’s event with $2,500 in funding which will go towards security at the festival, marketing and equipment hire.

“In 2017 when he was just 15 years old Ben Luke established Lennox Groove to support local artists and the local music industry. From there, Ben and Nathan Luke founded the Beach Sounds Fest.

“The drive, passion and determination of these men is extraordinary.

“When Ben reached out to me seeking funding for this year’s festival, I knew I had to do everything I could to ensure the NSW Liberal & Nationals Government delivered the funding for such a worthwhile event.

“It is people like Ben and Nathan who are the driving force behind our local music industry. I am thrilled that we can not only support this event, but also support artists from our region.

The festival will be held on Saturday, 14 July 2018 at Park Lane Theatre, Lennox Head.

“The festival not only promotes local musicians, but it also brings great bands to our region.

“I am incredibly excited for the line-up we have this year which includes The Pretty Littles, Eliza and The Delisionals, Voiid, Concrete Surfers, Viral Eyes, Crum, Sook, Garage Sale, No Parade and Mind.

“If you have not already purchased tickets, I encourage you to do so before they sell out.
