The Ballina Seagulls Rugby League Club is set to improve with the backing of the NSW Liberal & Nationals Government.

Nationals Parliamentary Secretary for Northern NSW Ben Franklin announced today that the Club will receive $10,230 in funding for a new roof for the Club’s entrance.

“The NSW Liberal & Nationals Government knows that sport and sporting clubs are the backbone of regional communities. We want to ensure our local Clubs have the best possible facilities not just for players and members but also for the wider community,” Mr Franklin said.

“That is why we are providing $10,230 in funding to improve the Ballina Seagulls Rugby League Club. This will make a great Club even greater.”

Mr Franklin said the funding will allow the Club to install a new galvanized steel frame roof for the entrance of the Club.

“The Ballina Seagulls Rugby League Club is an iconic part of the Ballina community. These constructional improvements will make the Club more accessible for members and the Ballina community.

“I am delighted that the NSW Liberal & Nationals Government can throw their support behind our local sporting Club and help improve the Club’s facilities.

“I look forward to seeing the Ballina Seagulls continue their success not just for this season, but for years to come.
